ABOUT THIS SITE: What's the purpose of this site?  Simply put, I built it so that I could send messages from a single web page to people on various different carriers.

Basically, I have a script that interfaces with the Web Paging Gateways of various PCS and Paging networks.  Originally it was made so that you could type in the number of your target, select the paging/PCS company from a pull down list and send a message. My script would then determine where on the web the network's web gateway was located, format the message and send it. The original is at the top of the screen.

But then I thought about how to make it so it's personalized? Hmm, if you made a button and had all the info in the button you could do something cool..... You could even pre-pack the button with your Pager/PCS number, the network you are on, and your name.  That way you could have a "Page-Me" button on your personal web page, and when a visitor clicked on it, it would call my cgi script which would create a "Personalized" Page-Me web page.

Hope I haven't lost you...... Here's my Page-Me button that is packed with my pager number, my paging carrier, and my name.  Clicking on it will call a cgi script that creates a page just for sending messages to me.
